IDENT respects trademarks, intellectual property rights, and lawful ownership claims.

In cases of clear, documented, and demonstrable abuse, including but not limited to trademark infringement, impersonation, or unlawful appropriation of names, identities, or assets, IDENT is prepared to cooperate with the legitimate rights holders.

Upon verification, IDENT may take appropriate action, which can include editing, restricting, or temporarily obscuring records that are found to be illegitimate or misleading.

IDENT does not act as an arbitrator of disputes, but it does not knowingly host records that violate established legal rights.

All actions are taken with care and proportionality.
